LMS Portals has incorporated an eLearning library into its cloud-based, multi-tenant learning management system. The library provides our clients and partners with a streamlined method for saving previously built courses for re-use across any number of deployed portals.
The library offers two methods for saving and repurposing your courses:
Save Courses Built within LMS Portals
The first opportunity the library offers is the ability to save courses into the library as you build them within the LMS Portals platform. When building courses within the platform you can:
Name the course and add descriptive metadata
Create course sections
· Add learning content to each section (videos, HTML5 documents, images, and more)
Incorporate quizzes (with minimum scores for passing)
Once saved to the library, a course can then be published into another of your deployed portals where you can then, if your choose to, rename and modify the course to meet any specific needs of the new portal.
Import SCORM-Compliant Courses
The second opportunity the LMS Portals library offers is the ability to import SCORM-compliant courses for publishing to any of your deployed portals. The LMS portals SCORM-compliance provides the opportunity to leverage industry standard content and courses for efficient use of our LMS and eLearning opportunities, in general. Once in use, you can leverage the LMS Portals analytics engine to capture the detailed data that SCORM compliance courses enable.
