Information Blocking Awareness; Ready-Made Training Course

The Information Blocking Final Rule prohibits Actors from undertaking any practice likely to interfere with, prevent, or materially discourage access to, exchange of, or use of Electronic Health Information (“EHI”). Under the rule, violators can face up to a $1 million penalty per violation of the information blocking prohibition. The requirements are enforced by the HHS Office of the Inspector General. Health care providers must educate and train their workforce on what constitutes information blocking.

At LMS Portals, we provide our clients and partners with a powerful multi-tenant learning management system and ready-made training content. Our Information Blocking Awareness course was developed to introduce participants to the Information Blocking definition and its rules.
